Who we are
One Miami Church
– Many Cultures, Many Locations, One Body –
Our Goals and Vision
Miami-Dade is a big county and there is much work to be done! Our mission is to reach the lost of Miami-Dade County by preaching the good news of Jesus Christ. In the first quarter of 2019, we have studied God’s grace. Listen to the sermons here.
Matthew 28: 19 -20
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Who We Are
We truly believe in the moniker One Miami Church. Diversity is easily one of Miami’s most celebrated features and we are proud of it. We believe and understand that Many people come from different walks of life and it makes us all special. We also believe that God has given us the ability to share our cultural diversities in order to celebrate the union He has given us through the sacrifice of Christ Jesus.
Furthermore, we greatly appreciate and acknowledge the gifts and resources God has given us in order for us to be One. Join us in our goal to be united under Christ with one mindset, one love, one passion, one mission, One Miami Church.
Meet Our Staff
James & Kim Campbell
James and Kim became disciples of Jesus in 1985 and moved to Miami in 2015 after serving God in the ministry throughout the country in multiple states for over 31 years. Joining the senior staff team they currently serve with an immediate oversight of the North Miami Region and Singles ministry.
Just as Elisha mentioned to his servant (2 Kings 6) “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” He prayed “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Our hope and prayer is that we are a people of prayer who never lose the vision of God’s power and his ability to transform lives.
John & Silvia Reus
John and Silvia became disciples of Jesus in 1977 and 1989 respectively and married while John was on the mission field in Brazil. They moved to Miami in 2003 after having served God in various countries and currently are part of the senior staff with oversight responsibilities of the Latin Ministry, Youth & Family Ministry and South Miami Campus Ministry.
“We love Miami – the energy, the diversity and the many opportunities to have enormous impact, both locally and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, with the gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s exciting to be a part of a vibrant church in a ‘gateway’ city.”
